Correct choose and buy
In the purchase of cnc press brake hydraulic press brake once the choice of improper, production costs will climb, bending machine can not be expected to recover costs. Therefore, several factors need to be weighed in decision making.
Fold the workpiece
The first important consideration is the parts you are going to produce. The point is to buy a machine that can complete the processing tasks with the shortest worktable and the smallest tonnage.
Carefully consider the material grade and the maximum machining thickness and length. If the bulk of the work is low carbon steel with a thickness of 16 gauge and a maximum length of 10 feet (3.048 m), the free bending force need not be greater than 50 tons. However, if you are doing a lot of concave die forming, you may want to consider a 160 tonnage machine.
Assuming the thickest material is 1/4 inch, 200 tons is required for 10 ft free bending and at least 600 tons for bottom die bending (corrected bending). If most of the pieces are 5 feet or less, the tonnage is almost halved, greatly reducing acquisition costs. The length of the parts is very important in determining the specifications of the new machine.
Folding flexible change
Under the same load, the torsion of the table and slider of the 10-foot machine is 4 times that of the 5-foot machine. This means that shorter machines require less gasket adjustment to produce acceptable parts. Reducing gasket adjustment reduces preparation time.
Material grade is also a key factor. Compared with mild steel, stainless steel usually requires about 50% more load, and most grades of soft aluminum reduced about 50%. You can always get the machine tonnage table from the manufacturer of the bending machine. This table shows the estimated tonnage required per foot length for different thicknesses and materials.
