Project Overview
Durmapress has successfully completed a comprehensive shipment of metal fabrication equipment to Colombia, supporting a customer focused on sheet metal processing, custom fabrication, and industrial component manufacturing. The delivery includes a BS3015E 3000W laser cutting machine, a 110T3200 hydraulic press brake, a 15KW air compressor, a 40KVA voltage stabilizer, and a complete set of press brake tooling, with a total of eight units shipped.
This equipment package was configured to establish a stable and efficient production workflow—from raw material cutting to precise bending—helping the customer improve processing accuracy, production continuity, and overall operational efficiency.
Equipment Configuration
BS3015E Fiber Laser Cutting Machine
The BS3015E laser cutting machine serves as the core cutting solution in this project. Designed for stable operation and clean cutting quality, it enables efficient processing of various sheet metal materials with smooth edges and consistent results. Its automated cutting process reduces manual intervention, shortens lead times, and supports flexible production for both standard and customized parts.
By integrating laser cutting at the front end of production, the customer can achieve higher material utilization and faster order turnaround.
Hydraulic Press Brake with Tooling
The hydraulic press brake included in this shipment provides reliable bending performance for a wide range of formed components. Its stable hydraulic system and rigid machine structure support repeatable bending accuracy, making it suitable for continuous workshop operation.
Paired with a complete set of press brake tooling, the system allows the customer to handle multiple bending profiles and product variations without frequent changeovers, improving flexibility and productivity on the shop floor.
Air Compressor and Voltage Stabilizer
To ensure smooth and uninterrupted machine operation, a dedicated air compressor and voltage stabilizer were supplied as part of the solution. The air compressor supports pneumatic functions and auxiliary systems, while the voltage stabilizer protects equipment from power fluctuations, enhancing operational stability and extending machine service life.
Together, these auxiliary units help create a reliable production environment, especially important for laser cutting and precision bending processes.
Secure Packaging & Shipping Process
Given the size, weight, and precision nature of the equipment, Durmapress implemented a reinforced export packaging and logistics plan to ensure safe delivery to Colombia.
Each machine was mounted on a heavy-duty wooden base and secured using steel cable fixation to prevent movement during transport. Shock-absorbing materials were applied to critical components to reduce vibration impact, while exposed metal surfaces were treated with anti-rust protection.
All units were wrapped with moisture-proof and dust-resistant materials to guard against humidity and environmental changes during sea freight. External protective layers were added to prevent scratches and surface damage. During container loading, machines were positioned strategically and reinforced with wooden blocks and internal bracing to maintain stability throughout the journey.
